Award Categories

This year we have 8 award categories and we are delighted to announce the inclusion of 3 new awards for 2017! These awards are extremely prestigious and an honour to win. Unless otherwise specified the qualifying period for entries is 1st January 2016 – 30th June 2017. We are now closed for entries and will be announcing our shortlist in August so watch this space…!

Criteria: This award will be made to a team working in the healthcare sector who can demonstrate outstanding achievement, performance and delivery of estates and facilities services.

Criteria: This award recognises the project team that has successfully delivered a new build. Entries must clearly state who the client was, the architect(s) and contractor(s) involved and the wider project team.

Criteria: This award recognises the team that has successfully delivered a refurbishment. Entries must clearly state who the client was, the architect(s) and contractor(s) involved and the wider team.

Criteria:This award recognises the organisation/team that has made the best use of innovative technology and sustainable practices to reduce its project’s carbon footprint. The judges will look at specific initiatives, supporting documents including the EPC, BREEAM rating and sustainability statements, and the benefits to both client and the environment.

Criteria:This award recognises a new product brought to the market within the last 18 months (1 January 2016 to 31 July 2017). Companies entering this award need to be confirmed as exhibitors of Healthcare Estates 2017.

Criteria:This award recognises a main contractor who have demonstrated outstanding work in the healthcare sector over the last 12 months.

Criteria:This award recognises an architectural practice who have demonstrated outstanding work in the healthcare sector over the last 12 months.

Criteria:This award recognises a multi-disciplinary consultancy or construction consultants (including building or quantity surveyors and project management companies) who have demonstrated outstanding work in the healthcare sector over the last 12 months.

The Healthcare Estates IHEEM Awards are now closed for entries and are currently being reviewed by our panel of judges. Once the shortlist has been finalised we will notify all entrants to see if you’ve made it through to the next round of judging! The shortlist will be announced in August. If your entry is successful and makes it through to the shortlist, you will be listed on the event website, social media, and an advertisement in the Health Estate Journal. Winners will be announced and awarded on the night of the awards!
