Unless otherwise specified the qualifying period for entries is 1st January 2017 – 30th June 2018.

  • IHEEM Lifetime Achievement

The IHEEM Lifetime Achievement Award is awarded to a member of the Institute who has given long service to the Healthcare Industry whether within the NHS or in the Private Sector and has made a significant contribution to their particular specialist field.

This award is made to a team working in the healthcare sector who can demonstrate outstanding achievement, performance and delivery of estates and facilities services.

This award recognises the organisation or team that has made the best use of innovative technology and sustainable practices to reduce its project’s carbon footprint. The judges looked at specific initiatives, supporting documents including the EPC, BREEAM rating and sustainability statements, and the benefits to both client and the environment.

This award recognises a new product brought to the market within the last 18 months. Always a fiercely competitive category we received some fantastic entries this year.

This award recognises a main contractor who have demonstrated outstanding work in the healthcare sector over the last 12 months.

This award recognises an architectural practice who have demonstrated outstanding work in the healthcare sector over the last 12 months.

This award recognises a multi-disciplinary consultancy or construction consultants (including building or quantity surveyors and project management companies) who have demonstrated outstanding work in the healthcare sector over the last 12 months.

This award recognises the project team that has successfully delivered a new build project in the past 12 months.

This award recognises the project team that has successfully delivered a refurbishment project in the past 12 months.

How it works! 

Healthcare Estates IHEEM Awards are open from 1st March to 30th April. You will also be asked to submit at least one supporting image along with any further supporting documents you deem relevant. Once the shortlist has been finalised we will notify all entrants letting you know if you’ve made it through to the next round of judging! If your entry is successful and makes it through to the shortlist, you will be listed on the event website, social media, and an advertisement in the Health Estate Journal.

Winners will be announced and awarded on the night of the awards!
