New for Old. Model Health Hub Facilities For a Community Setting

With the emergence of Primary Care Networks and Acute Hospitals devolving outpatient and diagnostic services many STP’s in England are developing new classes of infrastructure to meet these needs. These “Hubs” range from re-purposed community hospitals, care villages to new integrated care developments.

This session looks at the common themes and challenges illustrated with projects that are planned. Why quality matters in a local setting and what features are undervalued? Increasing utilisation and adaptability through organisation and planning. Using landscape and outside space to add value. Standardisation in components and planning with modern methods of construction.
