Biography

A healthcare architect/planner and project manager with over 40 years’ experience, who has combined practice and academic studies – MSc Construction Project Management, MSc Planning Buildings for Health, PhD Integrated Design and Design Management and the Delivery Major Hospitals, member of ‘Architects for Health’ and SEMPT (IHEEM). Currently undertaking research into healthcare facilities in the Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction, University College London most recently a study into energy savings and achieving net zero in operating theatres though ‘Connecting for Change’ a programme funded by UCLP bringing together academics from UCL and NHS Trusts. Has also participated in Workshops run by the European Health Property Network (EuHPN) including Barcelona 2024.
