Biography

Carl is a doctoral researcher at the University of Cambridge, investigating how inter-organisational collaboration could help to upskill the Estates and Facilities Management (EFM) workforce to overcome challenges such as an increasing backlog maintenance and ambitious net zero carbon targets.

Carl obtained an M.Phil. in Industrial Systems, Manufacture, and Management from the University of Cambridge and worked as a Voluntary Process Engineer in the Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, evaluating the medical oxygen pipeline systems during the first COVID-19 wave. He holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Technical University Berlin, Germany.
