Biography

Dr Lusi Morhayim is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research Fellow, at the University College London Bartlett Faculty of Built Environment and earned her PhD in Architecture from University of California, Berkeley. Her research lies at the intersection of between users’ cultural, behavioral and wellbeing needs and the built environment. Her research interests encompass right to the city, sustainable urbanism, spatial justice, ethnographic and user-centered design methods, and post-occupancy evaluations in multiple building types. Her ongoing work examines therapeutic potential of cancer infusion centers, their influence on wellbeing of patients and their operational efficiency. She is the co-editor of “Revisiting Social Factors: Advancing Research into People and Place.”
