Biography

Shaun studied at Cambridge before joining the faculty at Stanford University. He returned to Cambridge in 2000 and in 2006 founded Breathing Buildings.

He took up the position as Director of The Royal Institution in 2018 and in 2020 was appointed Director of the Centre for Climate Repair at Cambridge University. Shaun is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, supported the SAGE Environmental Modelling Group and is still a member of the WHO High-Level Expert Group on COVID-19. He was awarded an OBE in 2021 for services to tackle Covid-19.
