Biography

Jo is a chartered accountant by background and has worked within the NHS for over 25 years in a number of finance, estates and facilities as well as capital and commercial roles. She has experience of project and contract management including PFI within the trust sector and has negotiated several large complex contracts to deliver savings and service improvement along with responsibilities for financial oversight of estates and facilities capital and revenue budgets.  Jo is the National Capital & Commercial lead for the NHS Estates and Facilities in NHS England with responsibility for identifying  and supporting trusts in the delivery of opportunities for investment to improve the condition of the NHS estate, income generation  and supporting contract management and commercial structures.
