Maciej Matłok

I’m a surgeon. I studied surgery at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, then I started work there, I finished my specialization and defended my PhD with honors. Under the guidance of excellent teachers, I learned how to perform laparoscopic procedures – adrenal, spleen, stomach or bariatric surgery. I am also an endoscopist. In Rzeszów, I created and launched a full-scale endoscopy laboratory of the Pro-Familia Specialist Hospital, in which we now carry out about 160 tests per month.

For 10 years I have been a Deputy Editor in Chief of Practical Medicine Journal.

In 2012, I started to deal with the medical aspects of designing healthcare facilities. I took part in the work of the medical team responsible for preparing and launching the largest medical investment in Central Europe – the construction of the New Residence of the University Hospital in Krakow. I joined the team of the best design office in Poland dealing with health care facilities – Industria Project.
