Martha McSweeney

Principal McSweeney Architecture , Galliford Try


As an experienced Architect, Martha has been involved in the design and delivery of a wide range of healthcare projects. Martha is the Principal of McSweeney Architecture, which she set up in 2015, having previously been a Principal at IBI / Nightingale Associates.

In addition to Martha’s work with McSweeney Architecture, she is founder of CHAT Mental Health Network which continues to work on several initiatives to challenge and improve the delivery of healthcare design.

Using detailed experience, specialist knowledge and lessons learned, Martha is currently working with Galliford Try to achieve effective solutions on project. On the ProCure22 Efficiency and Productivity Programme Martha is involved in setting new Healthcare standards developing Standard Component, leading the BIM implementation and working on Pre- and Post-Occupancy Evaluations.

Martha recently became an Examiner at Birmingham City University for Postgraduate Diploma in Architectural Practice in 2017.
