Biography

My name is Matt Humby, I have been in the fire industry for over 25 years, having worked with a number of extinguisher producers and testing bodies in the UK to meet relevant fire standards, such as LPCB, Lloyds Register, I have also worked within the Automotive industry both in the UK and Europe with most of the leading OEMs providing  fire safety solutions.

I now provide advice and solutions to help mitigate fire risks with fire safety products designed for both commercial and residential building projects and have a particular interest in the risks, causes and effects of Lithium Battery fires, and how best to mitigate these.
