Biography

Niko Kavakiotis is the Head of Enlighted Europe & APAC, a Siemens IoT company. He is passionate about getting the best out of people and places, using technology to help turn vision into reality. Niko is at the epicentre of Siemens’ innovation, turning everyday spaces into extraordinary human-centric environments delivering smart buildings that interact, learn and adapt with their occupants.

He has 20 years of experience in the energy and sustainability sector, having built businesses from scratch that deliver comprehensive solutions to accelerate customer neutrality journeys.

As part of Enlighted, he is overseeing some major initiatives in the Healthcare sector that accelerate the decarbonisation journey of Healthcare Trusts, whilst at the same time solving multiple other challenges relating to productivity, safety and resource waste, leveraging the power of IoT.

Niko is a successful intrapreneur with multiple awards from Siemens.
