Paul Fitzpatrick Director of Estates & Facilities Liverpool University Hospital NHS FT & New Royal Liverpool Hospital remediation Director
Paul has worked in healthcare; engineering, construction and facilities management for over 35 years, during this time has developed a clear understanding of how to manage the assets and teams who make organisations a success.
Aintree and Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals Trusts merged in 2019 to form Liverpool University Hospitals NHSFT and Paul was appointed Director of Estates and Facilities for the new Trust, working with Estates and Facilities teams of the previous trusts to create a single trust wide service.
Paul already had delivered a circa £400 million portfolio of healthcare capital projects, when following merger, he was appointed Project Director of the £375 million New Royal Liverpool remediation project which will be concluded in 2022.
Looking forward Paul is leading the future repurposing of parts of Aintree, Royal Liverpool and Liverpool Women’s campuses as part of a wider Integrated Care System approach in Liverpool City Region
