Biography

Rachel O’Donnell is the Consult Lead for Retrofit at Mace, the international construction and consultancy company. Rachel leads on Mace Consult’s retrofit growth and delivery, working across the business’ sectors and practice groups.

Mace has updated its retrofit offering in 2022 to support clients address the challenge of keeping their assets, estates and places relevant, fit for purpose and in line with national climate targets and changing building safety legislation, such as the Building Safety Bill 2021. It has designed an end-to-end suite of services to renew the life and increase the value of existing assets.

Rachel joined Mace from AECOM, where she where she played a significant part in the Environment team as Business Unit Director for the Ground, Energy and Transactions division, comprising half of the UK and Ireland environment business.

In her spare time Rachel is a keen reader and cook and loves to walk the dog and spend time with her family.
