Biography

I am a consultant in Clinical Microbiology in the Department of Infection and immunity, and the Infection Control Doctor for Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust. I am also the current Secretary to Healthcare Infection Society. I am a research collaborator in projects with University of Surrey and the UKHSA and actively involved in supporting clinical research in the hospital. I have a special interest in infection prevention and control in the built environment and have been involved in managing major incidents especially around water safety in healthcare.
