Biography

Duncan is a chartered Surveyor and Project Manager who has been involved in delivering healthcare capital projects since the early 1980s.  He has a wealth of experience during all stages of a project lifecycle from inception to post occupancy but more recently has been involved in strategic decision making.  He is passionate about improving the health of the nation.  He is proud of the NHS but knows that we can do better; much can be learned about process improvement from other countries and industries which are equally applicable to healthcare.  From his work in the US he has developed LEAN modelling skills which can be directly applied to the NHS, coupled with his QS and OM backgrounds, these give him the ability to help deliver the clinical services in the state that we need for the 21st century/
